Use of Multistage Suspended Carrier Bioreactor for Treatment of Petrochemical Wastewater XIA Si-qing, GAO Ting-yao, ZHOU Zeng-yan
(School of Environmental Science and Engineering,Tongji University,Shanghai 200092,China) Abstract: The multistage suspended carrier bioreactor was used to treat petrochemical wast ewater.The treatment effect was studied at the carrier dosage rate of 50% and hy draulic retention time of 8 h.For the influent concentration of BOD5 108~234 mg/L,CODCr 253~444.6 mg/L,and NH3-N 20.8~26.2 mg/L,the average
removal rate of these pollutants is respectively 90.7%,74%,and 53.2% in the sec ond stage reactor,and 93.7%,77.6%,and 84.6% in the third stage reactor.It means that use of multistage reactor can greatly improve NH3-N removal efficiency,wh ile achieving the effective removal of BOD and COD. Keywords: multistage suspended carrier; bioreactor; petrochemical wastewater; staged treatment 悬浮填料生物反应器是近几年国内外研究的一种新型附着生长型生物膜反应器[1、2],其核心部分是一种特殊填料(能在反应器中保持悬浮状态)。微生物在填料表面生长的过程中,填料在水中充分流化以保持微生物得以充分利用溶解氧和良好的传质条件。
20世纪80年代国内曾开展了悬浮填料生物接触氧化法处理城市污水的研究,但由于当时采用的是活性炭、石英砂、无烟煤等填料[3](其密度在1.5~2.5g/cm3之间),故需 要较大的动力消耗才能使填料流化,而同济大学经过多年研究开发的新型实用专利产品悬浮填料[4],使该反应器的各项性能有了很大提高。本研究是在大量小试成功的基础上,在上海石油化工股份有限公司水质净化厂进行的。
上海石油化工股份公司水质净化厂的废水来源于上海石化乙烯厂、化工一厂、化工二厂、维纶厂、腈纶厂等的工业废水和该地区的生活污水(其比例约为3∶1),一般情况下原水水质如 表1所示。 表1 原水水质 pHCODCr(mg/L)BOD5(mg/L)NH3-N(mg/L)浊度(NTU)SS(mg/L)6~9200~700100~35015~3530~20050~400 目前该厂采用的工艺流程见图1。
